The online era has made visual communication more important than ever, and Illustrator is an invaluable tool to help designers create compelling logos, posters, infographics, animations, and other design elements for the web as well as the real world. His teaching style is hands-on right from the start, preferring to guide learners through the software with interactive demonstrations that are engaging, exciting and informative.Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based graphic design, editing, and drawing application program that has become the industry standard for graphic design professionals. Paul has done hundreds of illustrations, from technical diagrams to help build jet engines to infographics that help people catch bigger fish. Paul has experience teaching the big-three Adobe Creative Suite applications: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign-but his passion is Adobe Illustrator, software he's been using since its introduction in 1987. His company, Pushstick Design, provides a broad range of creative services to a wide variety of clients-from compact entrepreneurial ventures to large complex organizations. This course uses Desire2Learn (D2L), an online learning management system, and Zoom web conferencing software. Students will require access to a computer with the required software, Internet connection, a headset with speakers and microphone, webcam, and a monitor large enough to display multiple applications (or the use of two monitors).
